ChatGPT and Claude write n8n JSON that looks right, then n8n refuses it or it breaks on the first run. Almost every failure is one of these six, and the checker above looks for all of them.
2Parameters from the wrong version
Nodes like Gmail and HTTP Request changed a lot. Mixing old and new fields means settings silently disappear.
3Guessed values
Sheet IDs, channel names and webhook paths that were made up. It looks complete but points at nothing.
4Broken connections
A connection that names a node that isn't there, so the next steps never run.
5Missing required settings
An email with no recipient, a sheet with no spreadsheet selected: it fails immediately when it runs.
6Expressions without "="
Writing {{ $json.email }} without the leading = sends the literal text instead of the data.

Is my workflow uploaded anywhere?
No. The checker runs entirely in your browser. The workflow you paste is never sent to Gydmation or anyone else.
Is the n8n workflow checker free?
Yes, free and unlimited, with no account.
What does it check?
It checks every node type against 1,100+ real n8n node definitions, the required settings of common nodes, connections, expressions, credentials you'll need, and AI agent wiring. It fixes what is safe to fix automatically, like node-name casing, broken connections and missing "=" in expressions, and lists the rest.
What can't it check?
Your real credentials and live API behaviour. After importing, connect your accounts in n8n and run the workflow once to confirm.
How do I import the fixed workflow into n8n?
Download the fixed JSON, open n8n, then use ⋯ → Import from File (or paste the JSON onto an empty canvas).
